The Sanibel Model

The Sanibel Model was designed for a community in south Fort Myers which is located on an open lake which leads out to the Gulf of Mexico. Primarily a boating community; this development is conveniently located to town and shopping. This model was merchandised to provide a cozy coastal theme to highlight the lifestyle which a buyer would appreciate. The color palette consists of seafoam green, buttercream and driftwood grey. The living room features a custom built in cabinet in an espresso finish to house the entertainment components. Accenting the cabinet is a feature wall with shiplap wood paneling and shutter canopy for that island feeling. Slipcover sofas, wicker chairs and driftwood table accents set the tone for this resort like interior. The powder bath draws you in with a hand painted mural of an octopus for a whimsical flair. The master bedroom and bath are highlighted with white wood furniture and colorful tropical prints on the bedding and draperies. The master bath wall finish is a faux finish with glass beads that reflect the lighting and create a shimmer in the walls. White painted cabinets, quartz tops and glass backsplash tile make this kitchen the envy of home buyers. This model sold within one month of completion which shows that proper merchandising from an interior designer works!
